Hanna Wolf (b.1985) is a British-Canadian photographic artist living & working on a small family farm in the Annapolis Valley, Mi’kma’ki (Nova Scotia). She received her BA in English Literature from Durham University in 2007 & her MFA in Theatre Direction from Birkbeck, London in 2009.
Her current photographic practice explores themes of memory, familial archives and the relationship between identity, belonging and acts of caregiving. Inspired by the connections between parents and children, she considers motherhood, stories of home and the sense of self within family life. Her work involves analog and digital photographic techniques, with a strong focus on personal narrative and self-portraiture.
Hanna is available for portraiture sessions, creative collaborations, and commissions.
